Illinois Lottery Commercial
Asylum was hired to coordinate this commercial which included a group struggle scene (which was choreographed, so it could be repeated and filmed from different angles while still looking "natural").
It also included a jerk-line into a faux brick-wall. What made this interesting was the pull required 8' of flight, skimming over a wrought-iron table set in front of the wall, and impacting exactly in a 2'x3' breakaway section in the wall. Three walls were made and it was performed three times without a hitch.
Raymond James Financial Commercial
Asylum was hired to rig and safety an actor on a zip-line set 30' of the ground inside a giant green-screen at Digital Kitchen's studio.
Gatorade Commercial
Asylum was hired to rig and safety Yao Ming doing wire work for this commercial. The work was a collabaration between Asylum and Chicago Flyhouse.
Comcast Commercial
If you got sick of the Comcast commercial which had Brian Urlacher (of the Chicago Bears) tackling some mope who wouldn't give up his Comcast, then you got sick of our very own Jeff "Dusty" Kehoe, getting the snot knocked out of him on a commercial we coordinated and safetied.
WGN News
Asylum recently made an
appearance on the WGN Morning news, helping the Navy Pier IMAX Theater to
promote the opening of "Matrix Reloaded."
For this gig, we all got up
ridiculously early to teach local personality Dean Richards a little about
what’s behind all the action (and why it’s a bad idea to get us up too early!).
